Rainbow Artisans Market, Northcote

Above are some of the cute finds (Funky Pants and Reversible Ladybird Wrap) we made at the Rainbow Artisans Market in Northcote on the weekend. What a great market! It was held in the Northcote Townhall which is a really beautiful building and we met lots of lovely stall holders, and found some really gorgeous, unique handmade items.

It didn't take too long to work up an appetite so I decided to try a Jerry's vegie burger from the stand out the front. The lovely lady that was working there encouraged me to try the satay, chilli sauce combination on my burger, and it was delicious!! I highly recommend trying one if you happen to see them around, we were lucky enough to meet Jerry himself and were also provided with some excellent instructions about how to eat the burger without getting satay sauce all over you (lean forward whilst eating!).

Not only did that burger taste good but it also gave us the boost of energy we needed to head back into the market and do some more browsing. We were lucky enough to meet Di Bloomfield who makes some absolutely beautiful hand crafted lampwork glass bead jewellery like these stunning emerald green with white polka dot earrings.

One of my favourite things about sourcing unique, handmade products for Robin Street Market is having the opportunity to meet people who are so passionate about what they do. Very inspiring!
