Our First Competition Entry: Salamanca Market, Hobart, Australia

I LOVE the Salamanca Market in Hobart.  It is an outdoor market that runs between 8am and 3pm every Saturday.  Here is a map of the market.

Every time I have visited the Salamanca Markets there have been SO many people there!  It has such a great vibe and there is so much to see.

I love all the locally grown, organic produce that is for sale, you can just tell that it has been freshly plucked out of the ground! There is also heaps of local Tasmanian art and crafts for sale and you can meet the artists as well.  There are plenty of food stalls to choose from if you feeling a bit peckish, so once you have finished shopping, you can grab something to eat and laze on the grass in the sun (at least that is what I did!).  I highly recommend a trip to the Salamanca Markets if you get a chance.
