Our first stop in Italy is Venice, and we couldn’t be
more excited! Located in North Eastern Italy, Venice is situated on a group of
118 small islands joined by bridges. This glorious city is known for its
picturesque beauty, famous architecture and its artwork. Today we’ll be taking
a closer look at La Biennale di Venezia.

Now recognised as one of the most famous cultural
organizations in the world, La Biennale di Venezia was founded in 1895. Today,
La Biennale di Venezia hosts exhibitions in a variety of sectors, such as art,
architecture, music, cinema, theatre and dance. The Art Exhibition has been in
place since the festival’s inception, and the 1930s ushered in the new sectors
of music, cinema and theatre. In 1980 the Architecture Exhibition began, and
most recently the dance exhibition held its debut season in 1999.
