Fun with Food: 4 Sweet Treats for Easter Eats

Easter is a great excuse to get into the kitchen and whip up something sweet. Whether you're tackling a culinary masterpiece (see the Creme Egg Cheesecake below!) or you're looking for a simple project to include the kids in, we've got it here in this post.

With so many cute foodie options, it was really hard to pick just 4 sweet treats...but we finally narrowed it down!

Here are our absolute favourites:

Lil' Luna: Easter Oreo Bark

Bark recipes are awesome! You can pretty much change bark to suit any sort of theme or festive day, not to mention that it tastes delicious and is so easy to make.

This treat would make a fabulous addition to your Easter dessert spread, or as a hostess gift...or as any gift really. Nobody turns away a guest bearing bark!

Kleinworth & Co.: Cadbury Magic Bars

Chocolate? Check. Coconut? Check. Oreos? Check. Cadbury Eggs? Big check! Seriously, could these magic bars include any more of our favourite sweet ingredients? We're practically drooling just looking at our screen.

We've never made magic bars before...but these look like the perfect introductory recipe!

Ashlee Marie: Cake Batter & Sprinkles Fudge

So this one isn't technically an "Easter Treat," but they are definitely Easter-inspired...just look at all those colourful sprinkles! While Ashlee Marie calls this fudge, she admits that it's not a true fudge...somewhere between cake and fudge. Either way, it sounds tasty!

(We're also willing to bet some coin that the little chefs in your household would have an absolute blast decorating these.)

Taming Twins: Creme Egg Cheesecake

And we cap this post off with the mother of all Easter desserts. Is there anything more delightful than that time of year when the Creme Eggs finally hit the shelf?

This cheesecake is a truly scrumptious no-bake confection of absolute awesome. Look at how gorgeous it is:

Excuse us while we go and buy up all of the creme eggs at our closest grocery store...
