A Great Belgian Discovery

While travelling through Belgium we stumbled across an interesting shop in the town of Namur - the shop was filled with wonderful ceramics all made by the artist Odette Dijeux (what a great name!) who we were lucky enough to meet and chat with.  Quite a few pieces came home with us, most of which have since sold but there is one unique piece left, this gorgeous ceramic dish which you can have a closer look at over at this link.

1 Ingredient, 5 Ways: Portobello Mushrooms

Is it normal to retrieve overdue Portobello mushrooms from the back of the fridge? Don’t get us wrong, they’re absolutely delicious...but we usually end up buying them for one specific recipe and then get stuck with the remainder of the package.

That ends today! We’ve got five awesome Portobello mushroom recipes for you that will help us ensure that the Portobellos never get pushed to the back again.

Blogging Over Thyme: Stuffed Portobello Mushrooms with Crispy Goat Cheese

You had us at goat cheese. We know that this recipe is all about the mushrooms, but the tomato, spinach and breadcrumb stuffing doesn’t hurt.

The Kitchen Whisperer: Chunky Portabello Veggie Burgers

Those looking for a meat-y burger alternative look no further. How yummy do these look!

Minimalist Baker: Pablano and Portobello Fajitas

The ease-factor of fajitas alone makes this recipe a total winner. That...and the guacamole.

Just a Taste: Cheesy Portobello Fries with Spicy Ketchup

Looking for more of a snack than a meal? This recipe is for you, no deep-fryer required.

Cute Crafty Things: DIY A Pumpkin and a Princess's Pink Himalayan Salt Grapefruit Soap

There’s something about handmade soap...especially delicate soft pink Himalayan salt grapefruit handmade soap. We stumbled across this scrumptious recipe after a lengthy look at A Pumpkin & A Princess.

Crystal of A Pumpkin & A Princess has some absolutely delectable handmade soap, scrub and bath bomb tutorials, but we were totally blown away by these intricate, pale pink treats.

And the best part is that these soaps seem pretty easy to make. All you need is a soap base (Crystal suggests goat’s milk), Pink Himalayan salt, and grapefruit essential oil. From that point, it’s as easy as melting, mixing and pouring.

Aren’t they gorgeous?!
